These are actual clippings from church newspapers.  It's amazing what a
little proofreading would prevent:

A preacher retired and moved to the country to enjoy life and practice his hobby of yard work. Needing a lawn mower, he headed into town to buy one. On the way he saw a sign advertising a lawn mower for sale. He stopped at the house and a young lad came out to greet him.

During a Papal audience, a businessman approached the Pope and made  day our daily bread" to "give us this day our daily chicken" and KFC will donate 10 million dollars to Catholic charities.

Four Catholic ladies are having coffee together. The first one tells her friends, "My son is a priest. When he walks into a room, everyone calls him 'Father'."
